Working closely with the award winning independent production house Red Production Company, we were assigned with several tasks throughout the first series to help the crew create a montage for the opening of it’s first episode, introducing the locations and the artists in a stylised ‘one shot’ bonanza.
Being the first drone crew to be used for the popular TV programme, this was a bit of a learning curve for everyone involved. The studio wanted to use a drone for one of its larger storylines, involving several stunts and a dramatic fire and rescue scene.
This is the first time we’ve been asked to provide the POV of a junior witch on a broomstick! The production of this programme was an exciting one for us.
We have been the preferred MoVI crew of the last two seasons for Outlander. Shot in the Highlands, Outlander has been a challenging shoot for all the crew, often filming in remote and inaccessible areas.
Hollyoaks brought us in to shoot a major stunt on the Ch4 serial drama involving a train crash and derailment. The objective was to add some motion and glimpses of the train as it hurtled along the track as well as two signature developing shots of the train after it’s derailment and offer
Aerial filming in Ireland that develops from the courthouse in Central Dublin to reveal the film unit, cast and wider city region.
We were asked to fly within the Old Trafford stadium grounds and film 750 fans as they stood on the pitch in a “MUTV HD” formation. Because of the amount of people, the whole formation had to be within 20 minutes to maintain the integrity of the pitch.
Peel wanted to show the link between Princess Dock & Pier head in Liverpool and the expanse along the waterfront heading north to the Tobacco Dock and the Victoria Clock Tower (a grade II listed Gothic revival clock tower).
With the recent development and expansion of ACC Liverpool’s Event & Exhibition space, we were approached by the Marketing Team to help replicate a fly-through experience of the new and existing floor plan of the Echo Arena and Conference Centre based on an architectural animation, released during the construction of the expansion. Through this they wanted to present the capacity and functionality of new space as well as how it sits in situ with the existing Arena.
This was the first 360˚ aerial concept we had worked on. Having invested in a GoPro Omni 360˚ camera rig, we were approached by Sarah Allen, an Independent Producer and Festival Director the The Lake District National Park.
